Is this something that I should put a lock on?
I know that my genesis coupe had 18" wheels and when Hyundai dealer told me to buy wheel locks, I burst out laughing, and said "who'd steal FACTORY hyundai 18" wheels!?!?!" Even thought they were staggered wheels, I didn't see anyone stealing them (as ALL genesis coupes had them).
When we got my wife's 2014 Pathfinder LE, the dealer had put the genuine Nissan Wheel locks on for free. Again, I didn't see anyone stealing Pathfinder wheels (as they ALL have same wheels), but it was free.
I realize that on our mustang, there are A LOT of wheel choices. Should I worry that there will be someone with base mustang that would want my wheels on their car?
Back in 1997, my friend had a Maxima SE, which came with a nice set of alloys. They were stolen, and we were shocked that someone stole factory alloys, then realized that all GXE's had steel wheels/covers. Same for my Brother-in-law's 2001 maxima, his HID's were stolen as 2000 and below maximas didn't have HID's.
So long story short, how many people have (or plan on putting on) lug nut locks on their Premium package (and higher)?
