As the title states . Interested in getting my car PPF’d on the front half , would like to know some locations where people have gone and how did it turn out . The guy I usually use seems unsure how to do it with the vinyl stripes on the car .
Thank you

Had our guy lay the PPF up next to, & in between the vinyl stripes.
I wasn't interested in the possibility of trapped air along the edges on the hood & rear deck.

Perhaps I will regret it later for other reasons, but so far so good.

Painted stripes would have been ideal,
(and cover them as well)
but the ~$12k option just didn't move the perf needle enough for us, on a '22 500.

I'm a ~1000 mi away, so my guy is irrelevant.

On my GT350R which has matte stripes, my guy used regular (gloss) PPF up to the edge of, and between, the vinyl stripes and then also put matte PPF overtop of the matte stripes. They have done a ton of GT350's and GT500's and they do the stripes with separate pieces of PPF.
Given my distance, the shop I used, Distinct Automotive Appearance, is also likely irrelevant, but they did do a great job covering the entire car!
