Just found this thread while looking for 2018 PPL2 production numbers...
Special ordered January 30, 2018. Build date May 1, 2018. Arrived at dealership May 21, drove it home 2 days later.
301A and Recaro options, Xpel ppf. First Mustang I have owned. I have never seen another PPL2 in real life.

I have 2019 exact replica but it's blacked out.

I didn't even think about the bolt length, thanks for the insight. I'd love that shifter but for $475 when I got the blowfish bracket for $160...
Username, sorry to dig up an old thread but I'm new to 6G and just found your older post about the Blowfish shift adapter and I may have same condition so asking what you ended up doing? I just bought one for my 2019 PP2 and was going to install it this weekend while the OE exhaust was out to put in a new Borla S catback but if mine has the same dampner yours does...... Did you remove it and put in the Blowfish or no? If yes, what were your results with shift feel and did you get any NVH with it? And how was installation? Thanks.

So I wrote to blowfish and this was their response:
The current version accommodates the dampers installed on 2018+ Mustangs. Please refer to figure 4B in the instructions for an illustration on how it is installed with the damper.

I have yet to crawl back under to try to make it work. The car was put away for the season and is still on jack stands. I can’t do the work due to an injury that has my right arm splinted. If you happen to try it let me know how it goes.

Coincidentally Fedex just delivered my Blowfish adapter half hour ago. According to the literature in the box only the 2018+ GT and Ecoboost have these OE dampers so that why guys with earlier year models didn't have this issue. The instructions are pretty clear, well written and with good diagrams. You'll use that OE damper and bolts along with the Blowfish adapter, you wont need shorter bolts as mentioned previously.

Basically your going to sandwich the Blowfish adapter in between the trans mount and that damper. Remove (and save) the two bolts holding damper, remove (and save) the damper, loosen the upper center bolt remaining on the trans mount, install Blowfish adapter putting the upper center slot on the adapter over that loosened upper center bolt in the trans mount, reinstall the damper using same two bolts you removed earlier. Those two bolts will now go thru the damper, thru the two outer holes of the Blowfish adapter and thread back into the trans mount. Seems pretty straightforward.

I'll post instruction pics later, hope this help clear things up.

Very clear. Thanks for the help. I’ll get it sorted in a couple weeks if all goes well.

Count me in. Drove 2 hours to take a look at a PP2 with 301, left the dealership with a 401A PP2.
Do we know the production numbers for 2018 and 2019? I was going through this and couldn't find exact data.
AND yes, I did put a PP1 spoiler (the PP2 was too small and I got this brand new from a guy 20 mins away from my house for a $100 - will probably buy something else soon but for $100 ;)
Thank you!

Congrats and enjoy!
Spoiler looks good. Did it match up to the existing holes or did you have to drill/fill any?

I'll jump on also. Bought my 2019 GT Premium PP2 last October and love every minute of drive time I get. Only mod so far is Steeda H-Pipe but there is more to come shortly.

Everything fits, no drilling. That was one of the things I really like about going OEM.

Good to know, feel the same about certain OE parts. And yeah, hard to pass up at that price.

Yeah, $100 was a no brainer.

Does anybody know the production numbers for 2018 and 2019? :)

PP2 spoiler was a bit of a let down for sure.
