I recently bought a 2019 PP2 car that I plan on using throughout the year when weather is good and roads are clear. My issue is I'll likely take the car out in 20-30 degree weather making the stock tires useless.

I plan on getting a second set of wheels eventually. I've been looking for stock take offs but there doesn't appear to be many PP2 offerings out there yet. What aftermarket offerings are close to the style of the stock wheels? I'd like to stay in the stock wheel size 10.5x19 up front and 11x19 in back.

I am interested in Michelin AS3+'s to replace to SC2's. It looks like I'll have to go 285/35/19 to fit however a local shop said 290/30/19 will fit and be a closer ratio to the stock size. For now it looks like I'll be putting the AS3's on the stock rims. Are there any all season offerings in 305/30/19 that I can't find on Tirerack or am I stuck going with a different size?

I get the AS3's aren't going to have the grip of the SC2's but are they good enough to use year round or should I plan on putting the SC2's back on in the spring? Are there any other A/S tires I should be looking at?

Closest sized A/S that I know of are Toyo Proxes 4 Plus in 295/30/19. IMO, a pretty decent A/S tire. I have them on my daughter's Camaro in 245/275 staggered setup.

They are not PP2 wheels but ....
#1. NOTHING beats Nokian Hakkas in the winter!

#2. Id highly suggest some winter wheels. Trying to run snows on PP2s is going to be A. expensive for that wide of wheels. B. Slightly skinnier winter wheels would work better and cost way less. C. Wheel and tire package with narrower wheels would likely cost less and have far more options than looking for wide snows that fit the PP2.

#3. Nokians are worth their weight in gold trust me I live 80 miles north of Fargo ND. This will be winter #3 on Nokians. Dont regret it for a second!!

I don't really have the need for snow tires. I have a different vehicle for that.

I just need a good all season that I can drive below 45 degrees.

The Michelin A/S 3+ is hands down the best handling all season tire on the market today. With that said, yes there will be a huge difference in handling during the warmer months...anytime it's above 60* really.

We currently do not produce a 10.5" wide wheel, but we do offer a 10" wide and 11" wide in both EC-7 and SM-10. Using a 10" up front with all season tires can be beneficial for a couple reasons. First being less weight and less cost, second being that the slight reduction in contact patch will likely go unnoticed given that these kinds of tires aren't geared towards all out grip. Going with a 19x10" ET40 front and 19x11" ET52 rear would make for a great daily driver setup on the PP2 and has plenty of tire options with 285/35-19 up front and 305/30-19 out back.

Not quite the sizing you are after, but here are some images of the SM-10 on a couple lovely GT350s.

This GT is running 19x10" ET40 front and 19x11" ET52 rear.

I bought “take offs” from PP1 car 255/40 275/40
Still had stickers on the rims when I got em.$1595.00 free shipping.
The car rides great as driver, keep oem for track, too expensive to wear out around town.
(Same car before & after painted stripes, wheels changed)

I've been running into this same issue. I live in the Portland area where we rarely get snow but it does rain and does get too cold for the SCs. I'd rather not run a second set of wheels, so I think my plan is to run a set of all seasons in the size 285/35/19, size isnt too far off the stock size and my Speedo won't be off much only 2mph @80. For now I think I'm settled on the Extreme Contact DWS 06 by Continental and just swap back to my SC2s in the summer until they are done.

Stick with the DWS06 as long as you can. That's the ideal "winter" tire for the Willamette Valley. Best gripping all season in wintery conditions.

Conti offers a DSW in 295/30 on Discount Tire. Tirerack doesn't have it.

I'm thinking I might get those until Michelin gets with it and offers the AS3+'s in 305.

Looks like I'll be going with the 295 then! Thanks for the heads up!

I'm in kind of the same boat. I'm just over the bridge from Portland. I'm planning on getting some wheels widened to 10.5, and not a whole lot of options in a 305 19 thats around 27.2" tall. I have a set of winter tires and wheels I just bought but dont plan on keeping them on all winter. I would only put them on when it ices or snows. So would like to have all seasons the rest of the time. Looks like at this time I may have to get the Nittos in a 305 35. I would love to have a set of Michelins, and I know they added a bunch of sizes to their lines, but I contacted them and they did not come up with any new tires in the 305 35 19. I am not a real fan of a 295 on a 10.5, I like a wider tire.

I found a set of OEM PP2 wheels and for simplicity sake I'm going to get the 295/30's DWS 06's for it.

I figure these will be on the car for 4 months and will likely only see a handful of days when it is nice out and they haven't salted yet.

Then I'll put the factory wheels along with the SC2's on it in the spring. When they go I'll be putting on the MPS4's instead of the SC2's.

I'm still open to an good aftermarket wheel that is 10.5x19 and 11x19 with the factory offset but I haven't found any.
