What is the tire pressure supposed to be when cold on the PP tires? On the door jam it says 32psi but when I got the car it was more like 41. Right now its sitting at 36psi and I am wondering if I should put air in them or not? Highly confusing.

Always go by the door jam or look for specific loading information in the owners manual.

Sometimes the door jamb sticker will list tire pressure with max load (it will read really high). But if the door says 32 then that's not the case.

I would start with 32 and then go from there depending on how you load up the car (passengers, luggage, etc).

Why was the tire pressure so high from the factory? 9psi higher than what the door jam says...

They are shipped this way. Been mentioned a ton of times on the forum here.
your dealership did not do what they were supposed to and reduce the pressure to 32.

It could have been whom ever prepped the car at the dealer not reading the door sticker.

First thing I do when I get home with a new car is check tire pressure and fluid levels. I also read the owners manual with in a day or two.

I just assumed it would've been right coming from the dealer. I guess I need to let some air out of the tires.

Mine was also at 41 lbs when I brought the car home. Had me worried if they checked anything else like fluids. Put them to 32 lbs and all fluids are at a good level.
