Ran a search and didn't find anything so asking....

I'm picking up a set of PP take offs on Monday. Currently running a set of the 18" foundrys. Will the standard lug nuts and Ford lock set I'm running work on the new wheels right away?

I'm assuming I'll need the tpms relearn tool as well? Or will they self calibrate after driving a bit since they were already run a bit?

May sound like a dumb question but stuff was much simpler the last time I ran a set of take offs.

Cheers.

Right on. Thanks. Might as well pick up the tool then since I'm gonna throw some winters on my stock wheels and will be swapping up back and forth.

Coming off a fresh PP that got dropped off at Shelby American. Rears still have the red and green striping on them. So we'll see what happens.

Got them installed and out for a drive quick. Turns out there were 6 miles on the take offs. Super clean. Went about 10 miles and the tpms sensors haven't picked up yet. Still shows the last reading from the stock set. Going to run them a bit more too and from work tonight and if anything shoot over to the dealer tomorrow and buy the tpms learn tool. Love them so far. Slightly different road feel but enjoying it so far.

TPMS will probably learn so long as you've never installed other wheels. Mine seems to only store two sets of wheels. If I put a third on, it needs to be taught then it remembers the last two and if I put the first on again, it forgot those.

Right on. I'll give it a few days and see what happens. I'm just an impatient prick like that.
