PP damper for a V6?

I was planing to do an install of the Ford PP damper set (M-18000-F) on my V6 with the BMR SP763 Springs. Reading on AmericanMuscle and CJPP that specifically state that these dampers as not to be used on the V6 model.

I would have expected the suspensions to be the same so I am curious to why this may not work. Does anybody have any insight on this?

They will fit just fine, just another way Ford used to kill off the V6 ;)

It will fit perfectly well and that combination will ride/handle excellent.

I have been doing some more research, and thread reading and think I may just try the BMR sp089 springs in front without replacing the rears and see if I like the look. I am more concerned about the front wheel gap than the actual lowering. Mine looks like a 4wd in front!

If I stay with the stock springs in back will I have any issues with the Ford Performance Damper set in the rear?

Don't do that, it'll ride much better with a proper set of springs to match the front.

That would be my thought too. However BMR even has a picture (GT) with stocks on back and the 89 on the front. Saw a few on the BMR stance thread as well.At 170lb I would not think that could be far off from stock. Just thinking at this point. I do greatly appreciate the input.

More thoughts is that on the stance thread people have mixed and matched a variety of the BMR springs and it is not discouraged by BMR. Curious...

The drag and performance (min drop and standard) springs are pretty close in rates, so there's not going to be much issue with mix and match. Mixing the performance and handling is going to be advised against though.
