Police officers here get a court day scheduled. They get paid all day to be chillin' in court. They never get dropped here.

In Florida, Tampa specifically, if you challenge a red light in court and lose it's 3 points on your driving record. If you pay it, it's zero points and a civil infraction only. They kind've have you by the balls on that one. :rant:

I would rather just cover it with a tinted cover, and pay the obstructed tag fine. Those things are ridiculous.

There isn't speed cameras in Florida but there are red light cameras.

just got one visiting Cali in a rental, red light. Except I was turning right, and right turn on red WAS allowed, but I have to pay $490 and +1 point transferred to MD (or fly across the country and try to fight it). All because I didnt make a complete stop at the red. Slowed down and did a slow roll through smh. And I thought DC and VA were bad

Ive already spent about a grand on (1) particular light here in Orlando, that is not even a big intersection or anything, its basically a side road connecting to another road. Its like someone is watching you on video coming up to it at crusing speed, then hits a button to change it when your 40 feet away from it so you even if you lock up on your breaks you are sliding through it red

When red light cameras were here i think they were $168 but the city took them down. A lot of people got nabbed and I thought I was getting one on the last day they were on! Luckily it never came... No speed cameras though them things are ridiculous and someone should knock them down IMO
