I wanted a:
Ecoboost Premium manual with 201A in Deep Impact Blue
A dealer 2 hours away had exact one in stock with Navigation.

Went to go test drive at a closer dealer, and the dealer brought out the ONE ecoboost premium 6MT with 201A. It was a silver. I immediately fell in love with it.

I saw a ruby red in automatic in the lot. It's a gorgeous color. I actually didn't like the deep impact blue as it looked slightly purply...

As for the PP, I decided against it because it comes with "summer" only tires, and I don't have money to buy new wheels/tires for winter.

But if you plan on getting 17" aftermarket wheels, I'd get the PP as it gives you even better brakes. On my 2010 genesis coupe the "track package" gave you bigger brakes/summer tires/bigger wheels and Limited Slip Differential. I really wanted the LSD on the genesis, but no $.

I believe in the G6 mustang Limited Slip is Standard across the entire line.

Be sure to dive 2015 with paddle shifters, I love shifting SOMETIMES, not all the time. I like the deeper rubber too, but very happly with 18" foundry bullets.

Great retirement idea you have there!

If you are on edge about getting a 15/16, I'd wait for the 16 models to come out since they will have the new version of MFT. All depending on when the 16's come out of course.

17's will not fit on a PP. The brakes are larger and there are some difficulties finding a 19 that will fit.

If that's the case, I'm definitely not getting the PP,,,. I imagine that 17's will fit on the non-PP model.

The PP on this car is still an OEM setup. It's not an aftermarket track setup. It isn't harsh or bumpy.
Id consider it a more composed ride. The 19's are fine, I wouldn't go through the expense to replace em. Besides that I thought the 19's were needed for the Brembos. Unless they're different on the EB. It's all win/win with the PP package IMO. Brakes, gauges, suspension. The 3.55's would be a minimum for me. Especially a stick 4 banger. MPG will be negligible, but life easier. Just my two cents, but congrats.

They're ditching the Microsoft based system and going with a BlackBerry QNX system. So, it'll look different. Likely (based on demos) have better voice navigation and a simplified interface.

I personally wouldn't delay getting a car simply because of it though. It seems like a fairly insignificant change overall. For a majority of functionality, outside of navigation, you don't even need to touch the screen anyway.

I wouldn't wait just for a radio interface update. I would think there will be debugging issues when it does come out. Nothing like real world issues to bring out the worst in a new system. Maybe there will be an OS upgrade to the new QNX system, if there are negligeble hardware differences.

LittleJerry,
If I didn't already have a 2013 Ruby Red Escape, that would have been my first choice in colors.
