Possible new owner with a question

Just wondering i have the ability to pick up a OW 2016 tech pack and i would like to know from anyone that if the Mag ride is worth waiting for or should i wait and try to get a 2017 ?

I had Mag ride on my vette and seemed to me to be stiffer even in touring mode than my previous vette that didn't have it.

I wouldnt by a tech if you can get a 2017 unless you are getting a great deal.

The mag ride/suspension differences were the first thing I really noticed on the ride home from the dealership after trading in my '12 brembo GT on a OW GT350 TECH vehicle. The vehicle has been perfect so far. Back to suspension, you will quickly notice a lack of front end dive on braking and it really rides comfortable in normal mode. a '16 Tech pkg should be fine if you follow Ford's recommendations on tracking versus not tracking and may be easier to get at msrp than a 17.

Thanks for the response , i can get the 16 at MSRP and i havn't found anyone near me that has allocations for 17 yet

Mag ride is on all of the 2016s except the base. I agree with previous posters that the mag ride on the GT350 is awesome and worth the money.

I would say that you should get MagnaRide - however, I loved the suspension on my base shelby... very impressive. Here are a couple of videos that review my base suspension.
