Ford is sending an engineer to my dealer and they've asked to see my car on Monday.

Once again, I will keep everyone in the loop as this unfolds.

Nada.

He drove the car, was able to reproduce the issue.

They will be "in touch". Ford CS closed my case because there's nothing more CS can do. It's between me, my dealer, and the engineering team at this point.

Please let us know what happens. Mine is doing the same and would love to know their response to yours before I go in for a "fix".

This is absurd. I cant believe ford cant come up with a solution. Very annoying to have this happen in my brand new car.

The solution is easy. The cost and implementation is the expensive and time consuming part.

Hey guys.

Just got this update from my dealer today. Looks like it's snowballing into a much bigger thing, which I predicted.

Its about time. I let Sirius know I was not renewing due to poor reception in my car and they didnt seem all that concerned which is par for the course nowadays

I hope they can figure it out for you :frusty:

Ford put out a notice that they are investigating this. The solution is simple...implementing it will cost them which is why they are trying to find a cheap way to do it rather than just fix it now.

They are going to be replacing A LOT of antennas.. how engineering didn't realize you cant just split the antenna and have SAT radio and GPS signal I will never know! Hope they get you fixed up

Glad you guys stuck with it and fought despite some people blaming you guys or telling you its in your mind..

A user on the Escape forum said his dealer had a new part as part of the bulletin.

It looks like the first car they acknowledged this problem on (escape) may be the fix Guinea pig.
