Hello everyone,
My name is Emil Badal, and I have been a member of this forum under my personal account since early 2017, when I purchased my first Mustang. Over the years, this community has been an invaluable source of knowledge, experience, and wisdom about our cars, and I'm grateful to be a part of it.
A little bit about myself: I've been passionate about cars since childhood, particularly automotive design. That passion eventually led me to immigrate to the United States to pursue a career in the automotive design industry. I attended Art Center College of Design, where I studied Transportation Design, and have since worked in various roles across several design studios throughout California.
In 2024, I established Polygonics Design LLC as a passion project and independent design company through which I offer automotive design services and products. Today, I'm excited to introduce Polygonics Forged, a sub-brand of Polygonics Design dedicated to forged wheel design and manufacturing.
Polygonics Forged wheels are designed by me and manufactured using domestic suppliers and production partners here in the United States. Our first wheel design is the FVRS, developed specifically for the Mustang S550 platform. Due to the similarities in fitment requirements, the wheel is also compatible with many S650 applications.
When designing the FVRS, I focused on several key objectives:
1. Maximum Concavity Across All Sizes
One trend I consistently noticed while researching the wheel market was that concavity is typically tied directly to wheel width. Narrower wheels tend to have flatter faces, while wider wheels receive the deepest concave profiles.
I wanted to challenge that convention.
With Polygonics Forged, every FVRS wheel size is engineered to achieve the maximum possible concavity for its application. This means enthusiasts can enjoy a deep-concave appearance without being forced into extremely wide wheel setups.
The FVRS is currently offered in both 19-inch and 20-inch diameters, with widths ranging from 9" to 11". All sizes share the same aggressive concave wheel-face profile.
For example, the wheels shown below are 19x9 ET+22 and weigh approximately 20.8 lbs each. Personally, I didn't want to run 11-inch-wide wheels just to achieve a deep-concave look, especially on my V6 Mustang where such widths were unnecessary. Increased road noise, added weight, and reduced fuel efficiency were compromises I preferred to avoid.
2. Simplified Maintenance
The spoke count was intentionally kept low and the windows made as large as possible to improve brake visibility while making the wheels easier to clean and maintain.
3. Lightweight Performance-Oriented Design
The Y-spoke architecture was engineered to minimize weight wherever possible without compromising structural integrity or durability.
4. Performance Pack Compatibility
The FVRS was designed to clear the factory Mustang Performance Pack Brembo brake package.
Made in America
The PF-FVRS is a custom-built, made-to-order product.
Design, engineering, material sourcing, machining, and manufacturing are all performed in the United States. While producing overseas could significantly reduce manufacturing costs, I made the conscious decision to keep Polygonics Forged entirely American-made.
I've received multiple offers from overseas suppliers and manufacturers, but my goal has always been to build a product that supports domestic manufacturing and maintains complete oversight of quality and production.
Shelby, Mach 1, and Dark Horse Applications
At this time, the standard fitments available on the website do not include higher-performance models such as the Shelby GT350, GT500, Mach 1, Performance Pack Level 2, or Dark Horse due to their unique offset and fitment requirements.
However, if you own one of these vehicles and are interested in the FVRS design, please reach out to me directly. I would be happy to work with you to develop and engineer an application-specific fitment for your vehicle.
Finishes
The FVRS is currently available in three standard finishes:
• Motorsport Gold – Powder-coated base coat with clear coat finish
• Brushed Clearcoat – Hand-brushed finish protected by a powder-coated clear coat
• Brushed Tintcoat – Hand-brushed finish protected by a tinted powder-coated clear coat
The brushed finishes carry a premium of $1,000 per set due to the additional manual labor and finishing processes required to achieve the desired appearance.
Center caps are precision-machined from billet aluminum, powder coated, and then CNC-machined again to reveal the final detailing.

If you're interested in a custom wheel project, you can use the "Request for Quote" button on the website. The form allows you to submit your vehicle information, desired wheel specifications, and project goals. Please feel free to include as much detail as possible regarding your fitment objectives, and I'll work directly with you to create the ideal setup for your vehicle.
Thank you for taking the time to read, and I appreciate the support from this community.
The wheel specs for the following photos are as follow:
19x9.0" ET+22 , Weight ~20.8lbs
Tires are MPS4S , 265 / 40 ZR 19 all around
Car is at stock ride height , I know! Please don't judge me
She's my daily and I commute 110 miles a day, so I need those wheel gaps
