Play audio through USB from Android phone?

Is there a way to pay audio through the USB from your phone?

I have an android phone (HTC M8 running the Google play edition). I plugged into the front USB plug, but couldn't find any menu that let me play music. I tried the phone in media mode and not in media mode. Eventually I gave up and just used Bluetooth. Which was a bummer.

I didn't find that article very clear. Why can't there just be a version number you can get to in the software like Sync 3.1.15 or something?

I have the base model 2016 Mustang GT. It has a 4.2" color screen in it.

I'd like to know if this is possible as well. I'm a little pissed off that Ford decided to do away with the AUX audio input for 2016 but they didn't have a problem putting in those tacky and useless hood vent indicators.

Mine tries to play via USB as soon as I plug it in and I have to switch it back t bluetooth. To me it's annoying when I just want to charge it. I have a S6 Edge I don't know if the phone has t have certain software. The sync lady comes on and says the system doesn't allow you to play protected content through the USB connection as well when I plug it in.

Hey FordIVTeam - did you guys mess around at all with the amp in the 12 speaker system?

Lots of people complained about how quiet it sounded compared to Shaker systems in S197 models.

Oh please say it aint so! There is lag with bluetooth and this makes video playback useless.

I have a base 2016 GT. No AUX. I haven't looked at putting one in yet. Has anyone?

Well that stinks. No movies on the tablet for the kids. There's always headphones, but sometimes listening to the movie is nice for me as well.
