Got it on amazon, my local dealers didn't have it. The 3M VHB tape residue sucks though, I could remove most of it fairly easy today but some residue wont come off at all. Hopefully the detailer will know what to do with it...

Please check laws and regulations regarding bending the plate... there are rules for this (angles and degrees and shit).

I'm personally happy with my Craigs mount though... I like how it sits a bit out from the bumper, and also a bit lower...

Finally I agreed with my dealer that they put the front one with double sided tape so I could later still change to what I want if needed and the back I use the original to be sure for the moment.

back isn't too bad I think... also depends on rules about fastening... some of the EU countries demand they are bolted on right?

I have mine in bags from Ford - but I couldn't really easily see how to mount them and the plates together on the car who knew simple stuff like this could be complicated ;)

This mod saved my bumper Sunday night... as I got hit by a parked car with a tow-hook! The license plate is wrecked and my bumper has a thick scratch with small hairline cracks in the paint, luckily not through the clear-coat, polish might possibly help ..

I had no other choice to park behind that car, as pre-caution I left over 1.5M free space just in-case he/she would hit me when driving away... out of habit I usually take a picture of the car in front of me if they have a tow-hook, but for once I didn't but left plenty of space for him/her to get out of the spot... well it didn't help obviously!

Quick update: Apparently I can't find a new license plate without the pre-drilled holes in them on the corners like I have/had now... been to 4 shops today, one of them was the local Ford store and they even made a few phone-calls for me, but nope I can't find them anywhere!

you can buy your plates all nilly willy?! ours are government issued and not to be messed with... even as a non-EU country they come with those blue EU squares (which we are allowed to tape over with proper stickers provided again by the government )

I'm not bothered with the blue EU thingy, but the 4 pre drilled holes on the corners since I don't screw the plate on the bumper but use the suggested holders from @NewMustangDE and actually this really saved my bumperfrom getting wrecked...
