Which one do I need to pump to make my car run better?
Depends on what gets your engine really going. Consult owners manual ;)

I would of thought the fat one would slow the car down, so I would go with the thin one, but that could make the engine run lean :D:shrug:

I think we used to get, via literally less than 10 BP stations, a 105 or thereabouts. It was hideously expensive and therefore got dropped. I would've liked to have had a go with that... :ford:
Yes remember that, used to fill my 06 Focus St with it, seemed to make the 2.5 turbo pop like mad!

Doesn't count as that's a company (non)colour scheme.

Everyone knows cabs are yellow...

Can't remember the price as was like 10 years ago. Think it was 103 octane. There was only one BP garage kind of near me (was about a 20 min drive) that did it

Bang some AvGas in it for a laugh, that's either 100 or 130 octane. My mower runs really well on it!

I just put diesel in mine, it gives me better mpg ;)

I've only used super in it either the Texaco super or BP Ultimate (we don't get V-Power or Tesco 99 here.)

Any old shite.

BP Ultimate has the lowest Ethanol content of all the "Super" fuels.
I used to have a KTM with a plastic tank, these were known to swell with high Ethanol levels so I always used Ultimate, I don't suppose it makes much difference in the Mustang though.
It would be worth keeping in mind for older cars though with rubber fuel lines and plastic floats in the carbs etc.

And if any Ecoboost owners are hanging around, running non 99 fuel is about as handy for the BHP as running (with your feet) loses a good 50-70 horses by not running premium fuels (There's some graphs somewhere about it)

Yes, seems to be a lot of info on how the lower octane fuel affects the Eco turbos.
