Perceptions of the Mustang

Here's one I've held in reserve: first week out in the GT, and I'm stopped on the A3 services southbound (just past Guildford), and the chap getting fuel at the pump in front comes over to compliment the car.
It was Autocar journalist Andrew Frankel, and the car he was refuelling was actually one he was reviewing - a white McLaren 570GT. I complimented his car in return, of course.

Punchline: at the cashout, the shop guy whispered that he preferred my car.

Nice one! I'll keep an eye out then. Only one I've ever seen in the wild was a vert outside the Chinese in Wallingford street! Everyone here thinks I've landed from another planet :lol:
