Pep Boys retail RIP

I stopped at a nearby Pep Boys yesterday and it had switched to service only. The manager said all AZ Pep Boys are converting and the same in many other states. I usually went to Pep Boys instead of Autozone, O'Reilley's (sp?), etc. in the past. Will miss them.

Not really shocked but sucks regardless.

My preference is AAP, I think they have superior pricing and a rewards program that outdo the other names. Then O’Reillys, Autozone and Pep Boys are pretty much tied to me. I look at Napa separate then most of those.. they are probably by far the commercial account kings.
