Because of a slight disability, I have some difficulty getting out of the car when the seat is where I need it for driving.:( I was thinking pedal extensions, but I'm 5'7" so I don't know if normal extensions will be too long. I just want to clear the door opening when I get out.

Not sure if this would help but there's an option where the seat slides forward when you start the car and slides back when you turn it off.

It's called the easy exit function. My Taurus has it and I believe the Mustang has it too. I also believe it works (only works?) with memory seats. When you stop the car and turn off the ignition the seat moves all the way to it's rear most position. In the case of my Taurus the steering wheel also moves up and into the dash. When you enter the car and start it (or turn on the acc. power) the seat (and for me the steering wheel) returns to it original position.
It can be accessed and turned on/off through the info center on the dash using the steering wheel buttons.

Easy exit works great! Just had dual knee scopes (only two weeks after taking delivery), and with only limited bending of knees right now, easy exit keeps me in the driver's seat!:clap2:

That's the 401a package. I can't afford to get a fully loaded car.:(
