I am trying to pay it forward since I cannot get a 2016 and I have to wait for a 2017.

Yes that is very cool...just a word of caution...make sure that when you cancel 1 order they will allow you to put a friends name in place of yours....my fear is that some of these dealers may have a small waiting list..i.e.....if something happens to the old buyer. (as we know crap happens, and they may not be able to follow through on the commitment) They may not allow you to put your new party on the car, but rather go to there list....IMO

I hear you, and a legitimate concern.

I am doing warm hand-off's with the dealer's point of contact and the buyer.
