I'm running the Hoosier slicks, no tubes, unbalanced, 18 psi cold tire pressure. With a better 60' and quicker shifting, I think 10.5s are definitely doable

Nice run! What RPM are you leaving at?
I have my 2-step set for 5,000 RPM :D. Anything less and the car was hooking & bogging with the sticky hoosiers and good track prep. The track was crowded because it was opening day and an early accident created several hours of cleanup so I was only able to make a couple of passes:

4,300 RPM - car bogged and ran a 11.1126 @ 129 mph with 1.67 60'
4,600 RPM - car bogged and ran a 11.0890 @ 130 mph with 1.69 60'
5,000 RPM - clean pass and ran the 10.8713 @ 129 mph with 1.57 60'

I'm going to try going back to the track tonight and try 5,300 RPM or higher to improve my 60'. A saw a few other 11-14 mustangs with slicks and they were leaving at 5,500 RPM with their 2-step.

Nice run!! Thanks for the info. PP car as well with the Dynotech driveshaft. I was curious how it would hold up with hard launches...you answered that!

rear - Hoosier 28.00 x 10.00-17, Bias-Ply slicks
fronts - M&H 28.00 x 4.50-18 , Bias-Ply front runners

the front runners are actually DOT approved so you can legally run them on the street if you want. I drove around on them for a few days and the car feels great on the street (DRs in the rear). With the 3.31 rear gear, the 28" rear tire might be hurting my ET a little vs a 26" tire because I have the gearing / tire diameter now for 150 mph in 4th gear but not the PWR. I'll have to datalog next time but I should be around 6,600 - 6,700 RPM @ 129mph when I cross the finish line...

Good stuff.....I am running the rear hoosiers as well with the 3.31. I haven't been to the 1/4, but in the 1/8 I'm running similar times @ 106mph on a no prep track. wot box set @ 5000 spinning a bit.
