Ok so I have a question and am wondering if what I am experiencing is normal. So I have a JLT intake and a Lund Flex Fuel tune - so I'm rolling down the highway in 5th or 6th gear at 60ish MPH (automatic car, 3.15 gears) and I quickly stab the throttle.... for a fraction of a second it does nothing and then the car lurches forward and accelerates. If I roll into the throttle more slowly it is not noticeable. Is this normal what I am experiencing? Is this the dreaded drive by wire throttle lag?

Now I realize in this particular situation I'm rolling at 1800-2000 RPMs in a high gear so I'm not making much torque, but still.

If this is normal I'm fine with it. I just need to know if this is something I should ask my tuner about. Thanks.

Unfortunately it's the autoitis. It's first figuring out if it should downshift or not, and sometimes those inputs will confuse it. Are you shifting manually when it does this? What about Sport mode? Absolutely no lag of any kind when I do similar.

No this is in manual Sport mode. I think it's in my head. I only notice it on tip in and I think I was just going slightly uphill and in too high a gear. I can watch the boost/vacuum gauge respond instantly, which indicates to me that the throttle blade is flying open like it should.

Interesting. Not sure what that is. Can you datalog and get throttle input vs throttle body position? That would eliminate one variable, potentially.
