I recently returned to the blue oval side after trading in my Camaro on a 2016 Mustang GT with the performance pack.

One thing I miss is the rear parking sensors. I don't use the camera much because I think it takes away from the depth perception, but the sensor and sounds really help with parallel parking and garages. Is there any preferred equipment or quality sensors? Ideally they would work in conjunction with the rear view camera, but I'm open to other suggestions.

Ideally I would like to just hook up the oem, but I don't know if it will work in conjunction with the base screen and system. I'm considering the Raxiom system, but I'll only do that if I can add the parking sensors too.

Thanks!

Meh.... use the camera. I have backup sensors and they beep entirely too far away from anything to be useful. With the camera, at least you can see what's in the way. You just have to play with it... back the car up to something using the camera, and see how close it gets you.

Haha, yeah? I feel like I lose the depth perception, but I could easily get used to it, you're right. I was just wondering if anyone had done it or knew of how it could be done
