Pandora issue with Samsung S6 and Sync3

Trying to figure out if I missed something as I have been having an issue starting Pandora when I get in my car and keeping it functioning right.

I have to start Pandora on my phone before it will play in the car. If I don't do that the radio will pull up the Pandora screen and say Buffering.

The other issue I have is after I got it working right for a drive if I have to make stops, turning to car off and on. Pandora will start up and play the last song I was listing to but I have no control of the Pandora, I can't switch stations or skip.

I have the paid version so no commercials which is up to date. I also checked and Sync is up to date as is my phone.

I have unplugged the car battery, removed/unpaired the phone from the cars, unpaired the sync from the phone. Checked all of the setting I have found. Even did a system rest.

Anyone else have this problem or found a fix.

I have the issue of that half the time it won't even pickup my apps, and in the case of Pandora if it doesn't "fully load" (as in also load the Pandora logo in the car) that I can't switch stations that aren't assigned presets, and when I get out of the car the music switches back to the phone and keeps playing.

Spotify is the only app that generally works okay, but even then it doesn't always load, so then I have to just connect via bluetooth as if i don't have the apps at all, and then force it to refresh apps. it might then just work.

While i'm glad to have Sync 3, it works like crap with the mobile apps. Doesn't read them half the time, and it's not even consistent.

Kind of annoying, to be honest that this issue still exists in 2016, and of course we don't have car play/android auto working yet.

I have the same issue - hoping the update later this year will fix that. Heck, I usually have to manually force bluetooth to connect instead of it just connecting automatically after pairing.

with Sync 3 i cannot get any mobile apps to show, itll just go into a searching/updating mode and never finish. the "i" button next to the update says it will only take 1 minute but i left it for up to 15 with no change. Car is brand new when i tried so its not that anything should be funked up.

Yeah, me too, with a note 2. Sync 3 is far from perfect, but loads better than the sync I had in my 2011.
