Painted Black Roof

Does anyone know the process on the sequence of steps of getting a black painted roof? Is the roof painted first and then masked off prior to applying the body color?

Based on the paint chips taken out of my roof, the black is painted over the car color. I can see blue coming through.

Where did you get your spoiler? I'm getting my roof wrapped as well and I think the black GT350 spoiler looks sharp
