Had the same problem with mine. Well at least sounds the same. Ford denied my claim because there was a dealer logo there and was removed. But luckily I had a dealer that worked with me and repaired the spot. Good luck with Ford hopefully everything works out for you.

Luckily there was not a dealer sticker on there. As soon as the snow clears up I'll bring it over.

I tried taking pictures with my bell phone, but you really can't see it in the pictures. It feels like sand paper and you can see the bumps. I just called the dealership and left a message with service, waiting on a call back.

Has anyone else ever had an issue like this? Either with their mustang or any other car?
I have the same issue since delivery in August on the bumper and deck-lid panel, didn't came off during any wash. Had it detailed yesterday and didn't came off with Iron-x, claying and polishing. Contrary polishing created pits into the surface instead. And to make things worse, they have 2 layers of C-Quartz on top of them now! And that's only a small part of the poor paint-job/body on my car, on the left side from the front fender up to the gas-cap I have 5 dents in the metal and the dealership keeps telling me that some are welding dents and the big ones are in the clear-coat. But then yesterday Ive been shown the contrary as the big ones are indeed in the metal... kinda feel like trading in the car atm as it's been ruining a lot of the experience since day one for me... you know when you come outside, have a look at car and all you see are the defects!

And warranty in Europe on an American car, uhum so far no good!

Paint Warranty is:

5 years unlimited miles

If the car or truck was produced in 2016, the aluminum body panels are not covered by a "perforation" clause under that warranty. You have to refer to your actual owner's manual for the "fine print" regarding any other paint concerns.

Just as others have said - the sooner it's reported the better. Also make sure car is very clean in the affected areas when brining it in - otherwise someone w/ poor eyesight will say "oh that's road debris"...
How soon is soon enough? If you point it out from day one and the dealership doesn't report it to Ford, what else could I do more...
Unfortunately we have no Deysha that can take care of us here in Europe!

On an update, I brought it to the dealership, they took pictures, and they sent them to Ford. Took over a month, but Ford approved the repairs. The dealership called me about 3 weeks ago saying they will contact me when they have an appointment available, but they still have not. FordService can you look into this? Luckily this isn't a pressing issue, but it would be nice to have this taken care of sooner rather than later.
