Paint em Black?

Thinking on painting these black, adding spacers, and reskinning the wheels with better tires. They are a nice wheel but I never liked the bright silver. I'll eventually get the M350's. Just hoping for opinions. I have the same car, its not mine in the picture.

I'm always for black wheels. But I'd powdercoat, not paint. Spray them with some plastidip, see if you like it.

These 50th's have nice depth and spoke angle features, the best of all the 19" wheels and to me painting these black (especially flat) will visually diminished these features.
As mentioned above the good thing with PD is you can play around with different blacks or other color/gloss options that YOU youself may like while still matching well with the DIB, then from there you may be able to better decide on a final powdercoat finish.

I was also thinking on charcoal color. The 50th LE cars have charcoal and it really adds depth to the wheel.

Yup, dark graphite color or black would look great for the meantime that you're waiting on wheels. I have the black PP wheels on my DIB and it looks sinister. Is a bronze/gold not your flavor? Always looks great on DIB.

If this is going to be a temporary set up I would plasti dip them instead and save some money for the new wheels.

Because of the shape/design of the 50th Ann wheels I think they would look terrible in black IMO.

Agreed. 3 cans of tip will cost about $20 powder coating is $400-500. You can get the SVE 350 wheels for $1000 for 20x10.

If buy new wheels and tires before dumping a lot into stock stuff. The only exception is PP wheels. Those look pretty good. The rest are meh

No, they look good but just not me.. ;) Im hoping to get the GT350 style wheel. Thanks for the opinions!

They look great as the new wheels for the black appearance package on the 2017s. Just look at the grabber blue one and you will see these wheels black.

I think the stock wheel color suits your paint color perfectly. Black wouldn't do the car justice, imo - especially since it's a 50th package with all the chrome bits.
