So I recently installed the base tune file for my 15 gt PP and after trying it out and going on the first ride I can feel a rough idle and a little jerky when traveling highway speeds. Unfortunately I did not data log because I had issues setting up the livelink for SCT. The check engine light and codes popped up until the next day when I turned it on. Any input on what it can be? Hopefully it's just the tune and once I send them the logs they can detect the issue. Its a PBD tune, my mods are ported 18 IM, steeda closed air intake, LU47 and exhaust. The base tune I drove around was for 91 octane. When I pumped the 91 i did have maybe 1 gallon of lower octane gas. Maybe it was crappy 91 or needed to go more empty on the tank. Any input would help.

Do a crank re-learn it is under special functions in the SCT menu.

Might want to wait till morning it involves revving the engine to 6000 RPM if I remember correctly.

It's been some time since I had to do one. Sometimes when you flash a tune a crank relearn needs to be done. I think I have narrowed it down to not having a charger on the car when flashing.

Ever since I started using a maintainer while flashing I have not had the P0300 codes. Crank re-learn always fixed it when I did get it.

Let me know if it works for you.

I tried the crank relearn today and the codes are still there. I data logged as well to send it to the tuner.

P0300 is tricky (multiple random misfire) but p0302 tells you an issue in cylinder 2. Check your plugs and ignition coils? misfire codes are not something to be ignored (but you knew that already).

I performed a mixture of data loging yesterday for about 15 20 min. This morning I turned on the car for more loving for specific pids from tune and p0300 was gone. It was only showing p0302. Hopefully once the tuner looms at my logs and revises them it will help. Either way I plan on checking the coils and plugs when I get time.
