The code means a turbo charger underboost condition. Did you check your charge pipes? That a guess of mine. Maybe someone else on here knows more.

First, what are your mods? Did you recently install or change anything??

"Stock" rousch stage 1 axelback and a resonator Delete. That's it.

Edit*visually checked turbo piping/charge pipe. Nothing is noticeably disconnected or loose

So if your stock, the first thing I would do is go to dealer, that's the best part about being stock. Let Ford worry about it! Good luck

While understand the philosophy behind this, I'd rather not. I brought the car home may 2nd. Since then I've brought it back to the dealer once already for p0300 which is random misfire. They said it was a pmc firmware update false code. That took 2 or 3 days. Then my car got hit and run and I had to get it fixed and painted at a body shop. That was a week and $850 lol. The paint didn't set properly and fisheyed so I had to take it back. They fixed it for free obviously but it took another 4 days. I don't want to go to the dealer and lose my car for any more time if I don't have to lol. It seems like shops have had the car longer than I have in total

I gotcha! Well I have a good suggestion, try to pm adam at tune+ he is really good with codes and what to do, and also a couple guys on here, one is higdominator maybe he will chime in as well. The first person in the post to answer your question I think he was on the right track. Also, where are you reading these codes on?

I planned on pming Adam if no one here could answer. Didn't really want to bother him lol.

I have a crappy $20 pmc tool that reads the number

He's cool like that actually, and don't take what you hear about him to heart. He's a regular dude and he busts balls, but he will be the first to help even if you are t a customer yet. That's how he earned my business anyway for life!

I've been pming him about literally anything else I've had questions with. He's already earned my business. I can't wait to buy his tune. The damn access port costs so much though

Yup, but I am someone who has had first experience with the SCT device and 3 other tuners before Adam, and no offense to anyone he is hands down the best so far imo. Not just with his tune, but testing and developing some of the greatest bolt ons and turbo kits and aux fuel you will find. Good luck!

If you're getting an underboost code (and you're not tuned), I'd recommend pulling the belly pan and checking all of the charge pipes up close. They are notorious for blowing off due to not being tightened enough from the factory. Also, they might not be completely off but just loose enough to cause a good leak. Start at the top on the hot side (turbo outlet) and check every point in the charge pipe where a connection is made, i.e. where the hose clamps are at. There should be three on the hot side and two on the cold side.

If everything is kosher after doing a thorough inspection, I'd reset the ECU (pull the negative terminal) and see if it comes back. It might be an anomaly considering you're pretty well stock.

Yes of course I need to do a more thorough and I was at work when I did the visual one. Pardon my ignorance but what does the belly pan mean

It's just the plastic tray/pan on the bottom of the car underneath the engine bay. It's held on with some push pins and a bunch of bolts.

oh duh for some reason i was thinking of the oil pan and i was not about to go through that for a boost leak.

Side note; my boost gauge is reading normal, or at least it seems to be working the same as always. boost peaks around 20psi at WOT
