I tried them ... phoned the number associated with clubs
Firstly the person I spoke to didn't know there was a 2105/16 Mustang, then didn't realise there was a RHD Mustang and after 40 mins came back with "Sorry I can't get under £600, but be warned with Churchill (my current insurer) they use recycled parts whereas we don't" what a load of BS!

Still waiting to hear from insurer (was on hold due to questions around mods). Hope to have a more informed discussion regarding replacement car in the next few (probably working) days

shocked - they have been great with me - my insurance is under 350 with mods.

ask for thatcham and if you can charlotte - i would try again - perhaps you got the office idiot

Quick phonecall to a broker got the price down to £350, then phoned Churchill back and they said we'll do it for £326. Happy enough with that, now only £46 up on last year instead of £80. 16% increase which is more in line with the 17% increase premium increase the media has been reporting.
