This should be something our EU ford stores should have at a decent price...It's not like exhausts, downpipes, catch cans and other MOD stuff..this is a real spare part...anyone asked ?

Was a bit confused about the "spare" in my vert ... I figured it was just one of these spray can things ... but this box looked like it would simply blow air into it... (which would then leak). (Yes I haven't read ANY instructions - I've been driving a car ;) )
I also haven't really had much punctures... but BOTH my wheel sets for the Opel have one flat wheel now :(

Yeah I gave the partnumber to my dealer first and asked if they could get it. It took them a week to come up with the answer: Yes we can get it for you and no we don't know what it costs and we also don't know how long it takes to get here.
To me this means that it's not an official EU part and they're gonna get it from the US. So I decided I can do that myself too and probably cheaper and faster as well.
Btw: The part number is: FR3Z-1K007-C
They are offered on eBay regularly and American Muscle sells them as well:

Btw2: I think I read in the UK section that according to Ford UK product info the 2017 EcoBoosts that are heading there are going to get the spare wheel from the factory. This might imply that this goes for all 2017 EU cars and if that is true it might become available as an official EU spare part as soon as the 2017's start coming in here.

I am about to get the FR3Z-1K007-C spare wheel kit too. I am surprised that it comes with a black rim, in all the pictures I've seen it was always silver.
I have one only one last (big) doubt:
The spare tire is 155/60R18 with a diameter of 25.3" (64.3mm)
Our regular tires on the Ecoboost are 255/40R19 with a diameter of 27" (68.6mm)
Will this difference make it dangerous to use albeit temporarly and at low speeds?
Should it be used only at the front so to not cause wear on the differential because of the different rotational speed compared to the full-size tire on the other side?
