Got my GT/CS home last night. I took it unwashed or prepped from dealer and will detail over Labor Day weekend. Just a simple wash in line for weekend.

Just keeping a running tally of my build process... Hopefully it helps someone else. One thing to point out - the emails I received from Ford were usually a week later than the dates my dealer was giving me - the dealer was more accurate.

• 09/13/21: Original Build week from Ford email
• 09/06/21: Original Build week from Dealer
• 08/16/21: New Build Week from Ford
• 08/09/21: New Build Week from Dealer
• 08/10/21: Built

• 08/24/21 - 08/30/21: ETA window provided (via RAIL to Bay Area, CA)
• 08/30/21: Official ETA on order tracker

Hey all.

Ordered my Mustang on June 19th, Got my VIN a few weeks later. Since then I have been sitting with no build date.

I tried calling my dealership and they said they have no info on when it will be built. Calling Ford Customer Care recommended me to reach out to sales team at the dealership. I get the chip shortages may be causing problems but I would think I would get the build date with the VIN.

Anyone experience an issue like this?

Glad I ordered that combination of interior and exterior. I think the Blacktop package I ordered will make it look pretty nice too. I loved the retro styling of the rims on that package.

I don't know why their marketing pics are off. Here's what VB looks like on Ford's 360 colorizer.
nothing against grabber blue, just hope mine looks more like bottom color.

There was one that color at the dealership I got mine, in person it is a little deeper in color, but very nice.

Actually it's a club consisting of close to 3000 members in countries across the globe. It is probably one of the cleanest clubs on Facebook. We celebrate our cars and honestly it really has become quite the family.
