I don't know why their marketing pics are off. Here's what VB looks like on Ford's 360 colorizer.
nothing against grabber blue, just hope mine looks more like bottom color.

Yeah it’s horribly inaccurate online. Thankfully my sales guy was able to show me various vehicles in velocity blue before I sent the order. The render does it no justice whatsoever. It just shines in sunlight. (Not mine, kinda wish it was though. Lol)

that's what I'm expecting! I almost went with antimatter blue but its just too dark for me. Love black cars but hate to try and keep them clean. My 06 GT was Vista Blue Metallic....seems like this blue is in the neighborhood. Can't wait.....on its way as we speak. BTW, Cowboys fan here since 1966. Did you watch any of the game last night?

Yeah, black cars in Texas tend to turn yellow with all the pollen. Lmao.
I actually had no idea there was football on, I was dropping an engine in an old XJ Jeep as it will be my beater/light duty hauler/trail toy when the Mustang replaces my old F250.

you didn't miss much.....I usually don't watch preseason but wanted to see if any sparks on D. Micah Parsons will be good to go!

I don't think we will be giving many people fits this year though... 🙄
at this point in the season....everyone is a contender :cwl:
just happy football is back! and there's real live people in the stands. I was so desperate last year that I was watching XFL games! some where pretty good.

Just out of curiosity, I went through the 13 Ford emails with rescheduled production dates to see how far out in front they typically reschedule. The closest I've ever gotten to the production date is 32 days before it got bumped farther out, and the soonest it has been rescheduled is 51 days before the scheduled date. The biggest reschedule was an additional 28 days. Sitting at 37 days to production as of today so hopefully if I don't get a new date by next weekend, this will really be it this time.

If they do actually start production on September 13 and it takes 4 weeks to build and ship to the dealer, it will have been 206 days from order placement to delivery.

UPDATE: Just got bumped to Sept 27…

that's great. I'm sure it will get lots of attention! Mine went through production so fast.....they must have had all the parts laying around looking for a home :cwl:
Yeah, I was surprised how fast it was built after it went into production too. It was one week after notification of it being built. Delivery seems to be a lot longer, but whatever, I'm cool with it.

Last year, I ordered my 2020 GT Premium Rapid Red on 22 April 2020 and I got her at the Ford Dealer on 13 August 2020. It took in total 113 days (15 weeks/4 months)). The plant was shut down for almost 2 months in March-April 2020. Please find a picture of my Mustang called Miss Scarlet arriving at the Ford dealer.

I love seeing new cars before they're all unwrapped. Funny how different manufacturers do it. Got a new Mazda CX 5 a few years ago, and when it came in I got to see it all covered up. Mazda certainly wraps everything, even the wheels had plastic on them, kinda interesting I thought. Waiting for my 21 GT Premium 401A in Twister Orange to be delivered!

Cancelled my order on Friday after waiting for 5 weeks without even getting VIN. Instead the wife and I drove 420 miles (one way) to pick up this for her.

That looks great! Love the wheels. Waiting for my 21 GT to arrive. I did Orange as well, and your pics show it off real good. I like it.

I love the interior contrast stitching in blue. Looks great. I ordered a 21 GT Premium 401A in Twister Orange, and whish I could have gotten the blue with it. I think it would look awesome with the orange. Wonder how manufacturers decide which colors they decide to go with interior options?
