I got my build week for my GT C/S! Stepping up from an 07 Toyota Corolla I’ve had for the last 14 years so needless to say it’s time for an upgrade lol

very nice....mine just made it through production yesterday. June 11 ordered.....shipping August 19 - 25th. What are your specs?

same here, very nice...I have the GT/CS Velocity Blue, 400A, act valve, 6MT, B&O radio and enhanced security.

I was really close to getting the B&O. I’ll be curious to know how you like it. Some people love it and some don’t care for it,

i had a Shaker 500 in my 06 GT that served the purpose. Wasn't the best head unit but I wasn't expecting concert sound. Just found out yesterday that Ford is giving $1000 off my order. That will pay for the B&O upgrade

I was really close to getting the B&O. I’ll be curious to know how you like it. Some people love it and some don’t care for it,

I just got mine. It's OK, but not nearly as good as the Shaker 1000 was in my '07.

I doubt I'll upgrade any of the components though, because it's good enough for my listening needs in the car. Plus, I need to hear and listen for other things while I'm driving (not the least of which is the sound of the exhaust, which is the main reason for my wanting to drive a Mustang GT.)

I talked to salesman yesterday and just checked Ford's web site. It's for orders placed before 9/30/21.

Just thinking about this whole ordering process.....I placed my order on June 11 with no expectation to see my GT/CS before Christmas....if I was lucky. Pandemic crap, chip shortage and a two week shutdown at Flat Rock and it was built yesterday August 4th. That's roughly 6 weeks to process the order and make a GT. It's insane! Now I just have to hope it makes delivery as scheduled.

Sorry for anyone waiting on a new F150 traveling through Missouri by rail. There was a derailment today of 33 cars. Doesn't appear to be injuries but lots of smashed F150s.

Mike, The Ford F-150 is built at Dearborn Truck in Michigan and Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo, Missouri.

Here is my story.
Ordered a 2021 ecoboost premium convertible on 04/14/2021.
I think the very next week or two is when the Mustang plant shut down for chip shortages.
I wait 11 weeks for the vehicle to be built. July 1st build date.
I get a delivery estimate of July 22 to July 28. kind of long, but ok.
I get an updated estimate of August 1st to August 7th.
The car has now sat there for 30 days awaiting shipment.
I get an email saying the car has shipped on August 2nd. Woooo Hoooo! Finally.
I get an update from Ford on my delivery date stating the following: To ensure your complete satisfaction, we will require additional time before your 2021 Mustang EcoBoost is delivered. Your vehicles estimated delivery range has been updated to between August 15, 2021 and August 21, 2021.
In what way will waiting two more weeks ensure my complete satisfaction?
There is no way it should take long to ship to Massachusetts.
To say I am disappointed is an understatement. At this point I can't wait to get the customer survey after I finally get the car.
