ORDER TRACKING

In past years, when someone ordered a Ford product, they would receive an email notification that the order had been placed by the dealer, and then updates on progress until delivery. Does Ford still practice this?

From a brick & mortar dealership or an online site?
Online almost always provides tracking information. I have never once received tracking info when I ordered from a b & m dealership. They always called me when it arrived and/or I called them checking on the order.

Thanks for the replies. I know this is a Mustang forum, but I ordered a new F150 yesterday, from a dealership. When I can get an order number or VIN from them, I can track it.

The dealership can give you your order number and track it through the link I posted above. I don't believe that you actually need the VIN. I believe that I got my VIN from the tracking site. I used this in '21 when I ordered my 250.
