Order - delivery Belgium

Hello,

On 16 february 2016 I ordered my Mustang. At the local dealership they told me the delevery time: 4 - 8 monts. Today I called the dealer to ask if they had anny information. They told me that they did not recieve A vin number or production date. They placed their order on october 8 2015. How can I find out when my Mustang will be produced?

Indeed just mail [email protected] that info. But the sad news is that the convertibles takes 11 months. Hope that they catch up the process.

Thats a long delay - as YLA says, it must be due it being a 'vert.

I ordered my GT here in NL on 29th January. It was built in March and is currently in Bremerhaven.....

I was also quoted a 9 month delivery when I placed the order, but this was slashed quite quickly!

Yeah it's a big difference between a coupe and a convertible.

I know someone that ordered 1 year ago, he got his 2 weeks ago.

Not al all. Dealers are required to have at least one stock car so they often have a car underway that has not been sold yet. In this case apparently they found a customer who wanted exactly what they had underway.

I was expecting my car this week and now it's end of June "if all works fine"!!

I send a email with all their changing due dates :

Problem is I sold my actual car now and remain without car for at least one month!!

I had the same bad experience with my dealer... Told me a lot of b**shit. After sending a really bad mail to Ford France, the car appears 1 week later by the dealer.

You should do the same, trying to send a mail or to directly contact Ford Belgium to know where the car actually is. And ask to a FAST delivery.

I sent an angry email already to my dealer with all their due dates and said I sold my car due to their last answer. I said I was with no car now and I was waiting for a solution/proposal...

Maybe i will try Ford Belgium indeed...

With the info on the 07/03 that the car was produce at this same week, your dealer has the VIN in his possession.

So, ask him for the VIN and then we can find more informations for you.

I just sent a copy of my email to Ford Belgium.
Waiting for my dealer's and Ford's reply...
