Hey guys,

Anyone know how long it typically takes to get your car once its on the train? A ballpark answer is fine. I don't need exact time.

Thank you

4 days...to FL. Now I just need to get it from the rail yard to the dealer. Dealer says they have no control over that. :(

Took mine 3 days to arrive in Mississippi. But another 2 days to be unloaded and ready for transport. But my salesman went to the rail head and picked it up for me which saved a day.

Mine left Flat Rock 6/15 and made it to Benicia, Ca. today. It will be at the dealership Friday.

So that's the slow part? How long does that usually take?
My salesperson said 2-10 days. Trust me, the logic (or lack of) just can't be explained. There isn't a single part of this entire process that I've been able to predict. It seems like Ford is still operating on the "it gets there when it gets there" plan. Times have changed and people want to be informed. The delay and lack of information/communication has somewhat soured the experience.

It was 10 days from Flat Rock to Phoenix the last time. Took days to get out of the Chicago area, really big junctions there I guess.

Yes one would think in today's tech age that it'd be a little more predictable and accurate for shipping and even the build for that matter. But I guess that's part of the process we go through to obtain this car. Good news is once we get it we forget all about it and enjoy the car!!
And yes the Chicago rail hub is huge!! I drive by it a couple times a week, takes about 15 min at 70+mph to get by it. If you ever fly into MidWay air port and see it from the air, WOW, even looks bigger.
