Does the GT500 have the ambient lighting (color selection) like premium GT models? I'm wanting to have the oil temp gauge in my PP2 instead of the vac gauge but I need the color change lighting. The GT350 doesn't have it.

The GT500 got gipped out of a few niceties for some reason.

What's even more puzzling is:

WHY is the GT350 and GT500 dual center gauge cluster not available with the "My Color" LEDs? I mean, it is the same vendor making the parts for Ford, it takes the same size gauges, same construction as far as the board layout and pin connections, and same size LED's for illumination...

it's just strange that part didn't come with the color changing LEDs.

I agree. You would think that at least the tech package would have it. Better yet, why doesn't the GT come with the oil temp gauge instead of the vac gauge. At least the performance package models should have it. Oh, well, more Ford wisdom I suppose.

I’ve driven the GT500 many times now. Not once did I miss the colored lights.

I get that, if I didn't have them in my car already it wouldn't be something I'd care about. I'm just wanting it to match what I currently have. I could just run white on all my stuff but that just seems boring since I have all those colors available.
