Amazing?! A piece of plastic for $12.99?

You could go to bed bath & beyond and buy a flexible cutting board for $5 and achieve the same thing. Or better yet just go to a supply house and buy a bulk piece of flexible plastic for less than $1. Or use aluminum foil.
To each his own but my time is more valuable than 12 bucks. You can use cardboard as well if you really want to go cheap. I don't go into Bed Bath And Beyond. I don't want to lose my "Man" card :D

reporting back: oil level was good, looks brighter than the leaked one
So you believe that the oil was filter spillage that flowed over and out by the driver's front wheel? Is it no longer leaking?

Hope it's not the recall issue. Not sure what happens if it is, since Ford doesn't have the recall parts out yet.
