I'll try to keep this short.
- "Change oil soon" light came on late Jan,
- Insurance expired Feb 1
- Haven't driven ti since except 2 weeks ago around the block to keep everything moving, battery, etc
- I drove it again a couple days ago around the block and "oil change required" light is on. I THINK it said change oil soon before, or maybe it only says oil change required?
- I still don't plan to insure/drive it until about another 9-10 days from now. Is it ok to sit like that until then? Or (car noob question) does "bad oil" sitting there a problem?
- I changed the oil at 10000kms, now it's at 18000kms. Don't track it.
- Ford does my oil changes..not planning to do it myself, so that's why i'm asking as well.
