Oil analysis results!

I just got my results back from Blackstone Laboratories and I was quite happy with the results.


This shows you why it's a good idea to do an oil change after 1000 miles or less on the factory filled oil. I was not surprised to see the Oem oil reading at a 20 weight either.

The driving was mixed with highway and city driving.

The second set of results compiled of roughly 820 miles of driving with the rest being from my trackday. This test has Amsoil 5w-30 signature with an OEM Motorcraft filter. The car is stock other than a Cobb ots tune.

I changed my oil right at 900 miles or so. Always have on all my brand new cars.

Good stuff!

It's cheap insurance. In my previous car I did 5 oil changes in the first 1k on the built motorto get any contaminates out of there.

Yes full synthetic!
