Took the gt350 to near redline for the first time today. I must say that I have driven many V8's but this little 5.2L Voodoo is like nothing I've driven before. It just feels and sounds unnatural going to near 8,000 rpm. Almost like you are abusing the engine.

I'm used to driving V8 and V10 torque monsters and really didn't think I would get much of a thrill from this car but what the Voodoo lacks in torque it makes up in rpm and its ability to make me smile and cringe at the same time.

I hear what you are saying. This car is a lot of fun just driving the speed limit. Down shifting, up shifting, blipping the throttle, taking it up to 8K... I can see why people say faster cars are not as much fun. This car doesn't feel as fast as my old C6Z (not by much though), but this car feels more fun at sane speeds.

Its such a great feeling, driving this car.
There will always be bigger HP cars.
But I have never driven anything that
responds like this car.
Its fun to read, when someone hits 8000 for the first time.
