So, I got a CPE DP recently, and I can't see anything on the instructions as to how the o2 simulator works & how it's installed (to avoid the check engine light).

It looks like it goes in between an o2 sensor, but it is the green or the gray sensor? Also, what about the three metal pieces that come with it? [email protected] Can you provide some more info? I was not able to get someone on the phone.

Thanks

typically an aftermarket tune will take care of any CEL from removing the cat
but in your case the defouler is installed between the 2nd 02 sensor and the DP located under the vehicle.
The fitting with the smallest hole should be installed in the defouler using the clip to secure it.

let me know if you have any additional questions

Should I install the defouler regardless? I thought it would be good to have there anyway in case you have to be stock for a bit to avoid the DTC. Either way, I have a DP specific tune.

Thanks [email protected]

no need to install the defouler if your tune takes care of "no cat"
