I just ordered mine after several days of research. I did read about a couple bad experiences,hopefully it's just a couple of flukes. In all fairness, he has a rather small business and seems to have blown up quick. His prices are also better than anyone else's out of all the quality custom knobs. I will patiently wait for mine. As long as he doesn't pull a flossy on me I'll be happy.

It's funny how people who had nothing happen to them make excuses for someone who showed a very low level of integrity. Derrick treated me rudely and made promises he couldn't keep and didn't admit his inability to produce until I pressured him. The FACT is he made promises and reinforced those promises until I pressured him to get some kind of information. He avoided being forthright for months. Made excuses why he didn't respond to emails and then made a terrible attempt and making a knob for me that looked nothing like we discussed. I'm showing the picture of the logo we agreed on and the egg he produced. See any difference? The egg looking knob he produced has an all white logo and the one we agreed on is the black and white one below the egg knob picture. Originally there were supposed to be stripes on top and bottom of the logo but he waited months, after promising he could do stripes, that he admitted he couldn't do stripes. I only went ahead with the knob without stripes because I had waited months already and his knobs had looked pretty good that he did for others. This is my experience. If it's not yours then lucky you. Maybe he'll read this post and you will read this post and he will work harder to take care of other customers better. It's never a legitimate excuse that his company is small so he can treat people with less professionalism. I read bad posts about him as well and gave the benefit of the doubt exactly like you.

A lot better than I thought it would be. Theirs a thick layer of clear coat over the carbon fiber so it's not as susceptible to getting very cold or hot. After 4 hours of sitting in 90 degree weather the knob is hot but not enough so that you cant rest your hand in it. The aluminum collar on the other hand is burning hot.

All I am going to say is that I am sorry your situation wasn't better. But if you say is that there are two sides to the story. I am not going to air out anything because at this point it's done. I hope you find the knob you need elsewhere, good luck.

That is the response I would expect from you. Imply that somehow I was part of this screw that was solely on you in order to deflect. You could have been professional and admitted that you messed this one up and learned from it.

You're inferring whatever you want for whatever reason, I didn't imply anything. I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you publicly. If you still have a grievance after I've already refunded your money, weeks ago, you can feel free to email me directly. I have already addressed this with you directly, that I did make a mistake and accepted it and apologized and refunded your money.

I really do hope you find someone to make your knob, to your specifications. Good luck.

There's no argument. My posts serve to put you in a position to not treat other people like you treated me. If you even come close to doing to someone else what you did with me they'll refer back to my post. You now have to produce a product in the timeframe you promised and communicate better.
