I have a 2017 GT Base with Sync, Did the swap to the Sync 3 from 2018 without Nav
I know much of the system that I did mess with,
I know I didn't need to swap the Amp out under the

The trouble I am having is I have the rear speakers sounding bad...
at first, I thought it was my 12" sub or the LC2i or the After Market Mono Amp. then when that checked out fine, I checked the rear speakers and I figured that was the problem, I swapped them out and then it seemed to be cured, but after a few minutes when the unit got not, the noise came back, Sounds like a bad speaker noise... so I am fairly sure it is the OEM Amp in the dash.

So I am wondering, the Amp int he Base, the Same AMp in the Premium, I am sure it is not the same as the Shaker Audio 12 Speaker Configuration

But I do think the 9 Speaker Configuration and the 6 Speaker use the Same Amp, Just wanted to know if anyone can confirm.

Also, need to know who here has added RCA to the harness? maybe bypass the OEM amp altogether, later today I play to Forscan and disable the bass roll-off

I also was told to Disable the EQ, and/or Enable the Line Level outputs but that is where I hit a standstill.

I did get the current harness from Hextall I sent a message to him via Facebook, which is how I use to message him, but I guess his new job has him busy.

I would guess if I can just get RCAs off the unit I would not need to buy an OEM Amp since the 4 channel amp in the trunk will work better, I already have RCA leads from the dash to the rear ready to use once I can figure this part out.

The base 6 spk amp is in the head unit. For the 9 spkr system its in the foot well of the driver side. They are not the same amp.

By head unit, I am assuming you mean the ACM and not the APIM/Touchscreen aka Sync Module

So this means the amp in the Premium with the 9 speaker uses the amp only for the 3 extra speakers?

No, the amp in the 9 and 12 speaker system drives all speakers. The ACM puts out variable line voltage in these configurations.

is that a feature turned on and off using Forscan or does the device see the amp and use the same audio out and switch to variable line voltage on its own?
is it a BCM setting?
I guess it is the

727-01-01 xx59 F8x8 xxxx -
Enables Line Level with Optional Subwoofer (Aux 1) and Front Center (Aux 2) Outputs Enabled*
727-01-02 00xx - Disables Factory EQ Processing
in forscan...
I assume then this is what I use to power the Amps on RCA via the Speaker pins

I need to make sense of the OEM Ford Factory wire diagram book I have. I assume then only the 9 and 12 use the Audio Digital signal processor which is above the amp too.

I assume the pins out are the same for all ACMs

I took pics out of the book and photoshopped them to make it portable on my phone.
Trying to figure out the pins needed for RCA and what went to AMPS and what went to Speakers.

I did see that already, but what was tossing me off was so many places posting that the Amp was made for the 6 and 9 speaker system and was not 100% sure what lines can be made to RCA... now I wonder if I can tap on the other lines to gain the center channel and Subchannel, I have an LCI2 and another LOC for a total of 6 channels ( sorta ) but if I make the lines out feed as RCAs I can ditch the LOC. But will still need a DSP I guess.

I will also assume by converting to a variable line voltage for ( I assume all channels ) it will reduce the heat the ACM makes keeping it cool so it won't lower the volume to cool down.

Is there a means to just make some channels variable line voltage?

Yes there is. You can program the ACM to do the following:

- all 4 outputs variable level line output
- all 4 outputs fixed level line output
- Front and Rear amp output
- Front amp output and rear variable line level output
- Front amp output and rear fixed line level output
- Front amp output and rear disabled
- Front variable line level and rear fixed line level
- Front variable line level output and rear amp output
- Front variable line level output and rear disabled
- Front fixed line level output and rear amp output
- Front fixed line level output and rear disabled
- Front fixed line level output and rear variable line level output

Not all configurations make sense though.
In addition you can enable/disable speaker detection, Antenna types, number of presets, equalizing et al.

Does anyone know if the ACM from a GT350 will work int he Regular GT...

I see there was an old rule of thumb that if the ACM was an M or C variant you get HD

i need to replace a defective acm with sat/hd

then I see that the KR3T-19C107-LB that is in a GT350 has no M or C yet has HD and SAT just like the M and C versions... also the only Model # the same is the -19C107- normally the mustangs start with a FR3T- yet I am noticing the numbers start with a KR3T- in the GT350 version.

so if you have a
FR3T-19C107-MJ or
FR3T-19C107-CA I assume same as the
KR3T-19C107-LB
as you can see here
https://thepartsfarm.com/products/2...d-unit-sync-3-nav?_pos=1&_sid=9270fa39b&_ss=r

but say the FR3T-19C107-KJ does not have HD, even those the parts farm claimed it does

i bought it so i guess i will find out
