I pulled mine off about a year ago. 2017 GT has the Pony logo under it. (15-17) no issues and I didn't really notice any noise difference. Maybe a little. Perfectly fine to take off. Lot of people do. On another thread guys posted great pics of some art work they had done on the inside. Anyone...
50,000. Received the car in August 2016 by factory order.
Issues:
Air conditioning quit after 2k.
Reoccurring engine misfire
Never hooked up radio antenna
Heated seats stopped working
Pirelli factory tires lasted less than 2k. Never burned out once during the first 2k. Very Disappointing...
I love Daily driving my 17 GT PP Manual. I've put on 38K in two years of driving. I'll drive it for a while longer and then get another one. My question is when reselling, do you think there's a mileage amount where you really take a hit on price? How much difference for example between selling...
My check engine light (CEL) came on and I think I started noticing a very subtle amount of hesitation or surging at low rpm. Around 1800 to 2000. Just before I got it into the dealer for service, I thought I felt the surging a little more and the CEL started flashing for about 30 seconds before...
Funny, I'm hearing a weird noise from passenger pillar as well. Only happens when first taking off, with the car cold. I get a loudish "pop" then nothing. Didn't happen this winter and now happens when the car is fairly hot inside before the ac cools it down. Nothing I'm particularly worried...
Hello team,
I've seen on this forum, a little chatter about major repairs, and the mileage you had them, but would kind of like to see a list of problems and at what point they surfaced. I know there isn't much science behind a list like this, but it might tell you in general if you are over...
I had the exact same issue. I'm a bit of a conservative guy and have no need of others approval. Nor do I feel like I want to stand out in a crowd. We're all built different. I just love Mustangs and always have. I wanted the DIB color but had to get the lightening blue when ordering a 2017...
I have only recently started to drive mine ('17) in the dark (it gets dark around 10 pm in the summer here) and noticed the same issue. Need to tip them up just a tad. Thanks for the tip.
I was keeping it below 5k for the first 300 miles, then bumped the limiter this weekend. I did vary my speeds a lot and I'm usually not an aggressive driver, but no way you can keep off the gas for long. :headbang:
I'll send it in for an oil change at 1000 and call it good.
Hello all, thought I'd post a few thoughts on my first 500 miles!
I purchased a Lightening Blue GT premium PP with most options. I love this car!
Overall the ride is smooth and fast, the look and feel of the car is outstanding and it's a head turner everywhere I've been.
Going though a few...
I went to the dealer in May to order a 2016. Was told could only order the 17's and they'd start production in June or July. I could settle for a car without all the options I wanted or order a 2017 site unseen. Maybe a little reckless, as the Lightening Blue was the color I ordered and they...
Picked up my mustang a week ago and found the same in the trunk. Irritated me that the dealer didn't put them on. Par for the course I'm afraid.
I don't like the way they stick out past the other lugs. I guess the theives may see it before buggering up the wheels and hopefully go for easier pray.
Go onto the ford.com site and wait for the chat box to appear. ask the typer on the other end to look up your vin#. They can do it in about 15 seconds. This was the best way I found to keep in touch.
Picked up my pony last night. Never a great experience with the dealer, but we finally closed...
Just got a call from the dealer. PONY IS IN!!!! I'll pick it up tonight. Date just kept getting earlier and earlier. I'll try to post a pic or two tomorrow. Lightening Blue, Black stripe and black rims. Should be a little on the sinister side. OH YAAAAH!!!!
Mine moved up from August 25th to August 15th to now August 12th. At this rate it will be sitting in my driveway before I get home from work!!! Not complaining either. Friday can't get here soon enough.
I think what you can afford, and what you would really like can be drastically different. Was for me. I have purchased many cars over the years that were a trim level or two less than I really wanted. Things can always be upgraded. That being said, this time around I had the money and wanted all...
