any tips on how to remove the front number plate bracket?

i've got the 2 plugs either side removed, but the 2 centre ones are going no where. do you have to drill them?

regarding the left over holes, can they be left uncovered?

Mine were screwed; maybe they used push fits

I left mine uncovered, under the new plate. I had to trim the holes flat as they'd used an excavator to drill them.

knife in the back of the bumper and cut the push bits off perhaps? or if its those clips with the center pin just a paper clip to push the pin out then it should just slide out.

what do the push fit's look like? Do they have a little 'button' in the centre? If so, push it in until it clicks and they should come out with ease

They are metal round head with a hole in the centre but nothing to screw. Nothing there to push. Unless putting something in the hole works maybe ..

Here are the same looking plugs from the back plate.
These just popped out under light / medium pressure.

The front ones under Heavy pressure / heavy enough to bend the unit itself out of shape a bit - going nowhere - worried of damaging the bumper
