Torrie at unleashed will be tuning it when it gets here. He gives a few starter maps, you datalog once one is installed, and he gives you a revised map specific to your vehicle/mods.

The basics of it is this you hook the handheld tuner up via OBD2 port, hit a few buttons on the tuner, store factory map, then install your new map provided from either the company or the person tuning your car. They will want a few data logs, so i'm assuming the handheld can read multiple parameters, send the logs to whomever is doing the tuning. you repeat this process until things are dialed in. Data logs will probably consist of some WOT pulls, idle, and normal driving.

Nice! Will tunes be able to give the base gt something similar to sport+ driving mode?

I'm sure the tunes will offer well beyond that feeling. My particular tuner has not gotten his hands on the 5.0 yet, though he is planning to. Premises of tuning are pretty much the same across different devices. I personally would not go with a tuner that has one size fits all maps, or lacks the ability to datalog. Only a handful out there that cannot.
