What are you calling non-protrusion plugs? I think I know but just for clarification. If what I think you're talking about is right, then you cannot get them in the NGK or Densos. You'd have to go with a set of Brisk Silver plugs, the RR14S. They're a non-projected tip style plug, one range colder than stock, and utilize silver for the core.

And for future reference to anyone searching, the 14 series in Brisk plugs are one range colder and the 12 series are two ranges colder. A Brisk plug with 'S' on the end is a non-projected tip and a 'YS' is a standard style projected tip.

I left the Densos because they seem to wear twice as fast as anything else and have been running a set of the RR14S plugs. They've done well so far, no problems, and appear to be holding up better in regards to wear on the plugs.

lol Need to keep her safe,I read that the 14s are only a 1/2 step colder,I was looking at the 12s,Are they considered 1 to 1 1/2 step colder? At what point would you run them that cold,If I need 12s Ill buy them too if need be.

RR12S from Lethal FTW:thumbsup:
What fuel are you running? I initially started with the 12S and went to the 14S because I was started to get some good carbon build up on the plugs (from running E30). I changed to the 14S and they look perfect.

Well the tunes from adam are allready paid for,Im hoping he will hook me up with an economy tune,a solid fairly aggressive 91 octane tune that I will probably pad with a slight mix,And i would like a upper mid 90s octane tune that I would pad with no lead 100.Id love to run e30,Are they mixing the e85 with the 87 octane or 91 and up,If I choose to mix,I would have to find a e85 pump fairly close to the digs or at least my house,Either way thats the plan,I dont need this thing on kill by any means,Ive got other steeds I race,But would like to have some solid bottom 12 sec power,Carbon shaft will go on and some 17inch runners for a fun run from time to time.Would love to install a drag strut up front too!!

That makes sense then. I figured I could get away with the 12S on pump, but dat E30 lyfe doe, ha-ha. :headbang::headbang::headbang: I really do like the plugs from what I'm seeing so far though.

To make E30, you run the tank to empty and put in 4 gallons of E85 and fill the rest with premium pump (91/93). I use 93 fuel to mix mine with and it'll net you about a 96 octane (R+M/2) blend. I love it and run it daily, but it also helps that I have 3 E85 stations within a 7 mile radius of my house. :D

Back when I lived in Virginia, I'd have to drive a hour one way to get E85, so I bought a few VP Racing gas jugs and just put 4 gallons in each one. Then when I went to refuel from empty, I'd dump the 4 gallons in at the local station with a funnel and then add the rest of the pump gas. It wasn't too bad. I'd get 25 gallons at a time ($1.38/gallon), so that'd last 4-5 weeks. It's always an option to consider.
