Noisy Injectors after Fuel System

Wondering if anyone else noticed the normal ticking from their injectors was really amplified after installing a fuel system with aftermarket rails. Mine became pretty loud and wasnt there before the install. At first I thought it was an engine tick or even an exhaust leak but after probing around quite a bit with a stethoscope it seems to be coming from the injectors. This is a complete Fore system btw and FIC1000 CC injectors.

Might be because you removed foam from stock rails. My ID1050x injectors are loud on stock fuel system.

I have the same noise (Fore rails here too). Sounds like ticking and is pretty audible at idle. Didn't re-use the rail foam, FWIW

With my ID1050X injectors and Sai Li system on stock rails and E85, the injectors are quite loud.

Lol it’s is one of the first things I noticed! Then my friend stated “you make a 1000 hp and your worried about injector noise!?”

He had a point, I guess...

Thanks Guys. Sounds like its pretty normal. I got scared for a second thinking it was a valve noise from my new Aluminator but Im certain its from the injectors. I might try to cut the factory foam and fit it over the Fore rails to see if that makes a difference.

I got 1050x’s on stock pump & a bap. I didn’t notice anything abnormal..I will be installing my fore fuel system in a couple of months, my tuner is real bz right now..but will check back to see if there is any difference..

The Ones that come with the Roush kit are loud. Tech isolated the noise using a stethoscope and the tick started after the kit was installed. Fortunately it's only during a cold start.
