Does the 2017 Mustang GT convertible have sound canceling microphones. If so, where are they located?

the dual mic is above the rear view mirror by the button to control the roof.

Does the map light housing have to be removed to get to the dual mic?

So I've searched for answer quite a bit as my GT is surprisingly quit with the windows rolled up, but as far as I can tell only the Ecoboost has ANC. Never found any evidence or anyone confidently claiming the GT has it as well.

For what it's worth the attached is from the Order Guide for the 2021. The '18 and '19 Order Guides do not have the footnote, but I suspect ANC was also Eco-B during those years as well. I do not have the Order Guides for other years.

you can usually see them through the little grates, I'm not sure about noise canceling per-say but before switching to a aftermarket radio i had little issue talking on the phone with the top down and could still be understood. if you are wanting to replace the mic with a aftermarket there is not much room but can be done, the trim can be a bit of a pain to get off so be gentle and more so when its cold or more likely to break it. you will have to remove the trim going across the top of the windshield which is partially covered by the A pillar trim.
